The elongated Zillertal, with its many side valleys, offers all the cyclists a varied and active holiday. In the sunny valley you will find the optimal conditions to improve your performance level and then move on to the routes at a higher altitude.

The routes in the side valleys, up into the directions of the reservoirs or towards the passes are even for the pros a challenge. The ideal location of the routes (500-1000 m) has a very positive impact your condition. For example, the 40 km long "Zillertaler Höhenstrasse" and the Gerlospass are ideal for training at altitude, but you can also take it easy and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

Examples of a number of routes

Zillertal Cycling Road

An easy family-friendly route without any steep gradients worth mentioning. Start from Strass on the left bank of the Ziller and continue to Schlitters and along the wide valley floor through Fügen and Uderns to Kaltenbach. After passing under the Zillertal-Bundesstrasse, the well-marked route generally follows the Zillertalbahn railway line. Also very suitable for E-Bikes
